Classic

Elvis Presley, inked using Adobe Illustrator

These two were inked and colored using Adobe Illustrator back while still in college. They were used mostly for assignments in an Adobe Illustrator class. The Elvis Presley took many hours and consisted of many shapes to fill in the gaps using a mouse.

The Obi-Wan Kenobi was first drawn with pencil and paper. I scanned the image and imported it into Adobe Illustrator. The results were better than I could have hoped for! I had a good friend of mine who is a huge pro at doing these sort of things that really helped me along the way.

I'm not entirely sure I can bring myself to using a mouse with Illustrator unless it's just to do a touch up job.

Obi-Wan Kenobi? I wonder if he means Old Ben Kenobi...

Samus Aran Digital Coloring Test

This is one of the very first things I did using illustrator about a year and a half ago. Started it with pencil and paper and then scanned it into a computer. This, along with Obi Wan were the first "tests" into digital coloring and inking.
